I recommend this place to everyone. The fastest way to get from Downtown Kansas City to Arrowhead Stadium is to taxi. The hotel staff was pleasant enough, but the check-in clerk forgot to swipe my card, so I got a phone call at midnight and was asked to go back to the front desk to take care of that. Good breakfast, and the shuttle was perfect. The hotel didn't have cold drinks or water for purchase. It opened in 1973 as Royals Stadium and was named for Kauffman on July 2, 1993.
